The student-athlete’s first résumé is created during their initial semester at WSU in the New Student-Athlete Seminar. Subsequent sessions can be requested by contacting the Director of Career and Personal Development or by utilizing services at University Career Services. Additional sessions are also provided during the summer for those student-athletes attending summer classes. Formal resume sessions are conducted at the Senior Dinner Meeting held each September and in pre-arranged sessions coordinated with a Career Services counselor and conducted in the P.R.O.W.L. Resource Center. These formalized sessions are in preparation for the Professional Development Portfolio and their respective job searches. For more information contact Pippa Pierce at 509-335-0245.
